Summary

Felipe Sanchez Osorio Elderly Public Housing is a recently constructed housing project (completed in 2018), consisting in 153 houses of one and two bedrooms, exclusive for elder and handicap people. Consequently, the site of the project is designed with minimum surface slopes, in order to comply with Fair Housing requirements. It is located at 153-159 Ignacio Arzuaga Street at the Martin Gonzalez Ward, at the Municipality of Carolina, Puerto Rico. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools and performing all operations in connection with the of sanitary sewers and appurtenances, including excavation, trenching, back filling and all appurtenant work as required. The Contractor shall furnish al new materials of the size and kind shown on the shop drawings and/or approved manufacture specifications, which shall meet the following specifications or requirements. If any of the material is not specified on the shop drawings, the Contractor may use any of the types listed in these Specifications. The Felipe Sanchez Osorio storm sewer improvements project is aimed at upgrading and improving the existing drainage infrastructure within the residential area, to avoid runoff entering inside houses, and enhance the level of service for residents. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: o Providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and incidentals, as necessary for the installation of storm sewer piping, storm structures, selected sections of sidewalk and pavement demolition and replacement, cleaning of all existing storm sewer piping not to be replaced, sod restoration, and coordination with existing utilities. Bidders shall refer to the construction drawings, technical specifications and all other contract documents to determine the full scope of work for this project.
